Healthy Homes Appeal 2026
We’d love you to be a part of The Healthy Homes Appeal 2026 which finishes at the end of June.
This exciting campaign will raise vital funds for our hardship fund, helping us support those who need it most.
We’re inviting agencies, businesses and individuals to get involved, whether by building on events you already have planned or creating something new. From a simple office bake sale or step challenge to bigger ideas like a World Cup sweepstake, marathon, zip wire or even a skydive, there’s something for everyone.
It’s a great opportunity to have fun, bring people together, and make a real difference. Get involved and help us make this our biggest appeal yet.
New Staff Induction
Our new Care & Repair staff induction is available on the Learning Management System. It’s designed to help you settle into your role and build a clear picture of who we are, what we do, and how our services make a difference across Wales.
You’ll work through a series of short induction tiles (please complete them in order), covering our mission and values, key projects like Managing Better and Hospital to a Healthier Home, our Policy & Advocacy work, and the training available for different roles.
We’d really welcome your feedback after you’ve used the induction — we’re always looking to improve it and are open to new ideas.

Insights from 52 In-depth interviews with Care & Repair Staff
By bringing together the voices of Care & Repair staff from across Wales, a new report offers unprecedented insight into the shared values, experiences, and challenges that underpin our work.
Based on 52 in-depth interviews, it showcases how caseworkers, administrators, handypersons, and technical officers build trust, go beyond the immediate issue, and work together to support older and vulnerable people in Wales.
Hardship Funds

PLEDGE Your Support
Sign the Safety-Net Grant campaign pledge and show your support for older people struggling with hazardous disrepair.
The campaign calls for the Welsh Government to implement a Safety-Net Grant delivered by Care & Repair to rectify instances of dangerous disrepair.
Hazardous housing disrepair threatens lives and puts avoidable strain on health and social care services in Wales.
